An owner-run boutique pousada on the quiet, cobbled side of Vila do Abraão — built for hikers and grown-ups who came for the trails, the boats and the silence.
Pousada Costa Verde is an owner-run, 7-suite boutique pousada in Vila do Abraão, the main village of Ilha Grande, Brazil. It sits on the quiet, cobbled west side, about 350 m from the pier — easy with luggage. Built for hikers and adults (we don’t take children), every suite has an orthopedic bed, Starlink Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Rated 9.5 on Booking.com, 9.8 on Expedia, 5/5 on Tripadvisor, and listed in the printed Lonely Planet.
“I live here. I’ll point you to the right trail, the right boat and the right beach for the day you have.”
Most of our guests are trekkers, so the pousada is set up for them: orthopedic mattresses for tired legs, ponchos and umbrellas we lend out, Starlink if you need to work, and a trilingual welcome. I book your boat trips, transfers and trails myself — usually at a better price than you’d find asking around the village.
